Sata 5000 HVLP Paint Gun Review

The Sata 5000 HVLP is an excellent choice for applying basecoats, clearcoats, and sealers. It features a matte finish known as “pearlchrome” that looks great and has a unique spray pattern that resembles the Sata 3000. This spray pattern allows for less dry spray around the edges at different distances and results in less sand-piling, especially when using high metallic colors.

The 5000 is known for its high build quality and durability, making it a great option for production painters. However, it does come at a higher price point compared to other mainstream paint guns, and additional fluid tips and replacement parts may also be expensive. The gun is available with a built-in digital gauge or a screw-on digital adam, or with no regulator at all to save on cost. Overall, the Sata 5000 is a fantastic gun that delivers excellent results.
