    Hey guys,I finally got around to finishing up the old caprice today and I thought you might want to see it.This was a frame off restoration that was brought to me almost finished.It was in primer and assembled with the jambs painted when I got it.All I did was long block it out with 180 to check the work,do some bodywork re-prime it,wet block it with 400,spray it bc/cc.This is probably one of my last solvent basecoat jobs.I used u-tech polybase(sikkens)and Sikkens HS plus clear.[IMG]http://i580.photobucket.com/albums/ss241/jaysonm1969/010.jpg[/IMG]

    If you can get U-tech polybase in your area give it a shot,this is almost covered in one coat.

    that last photo would have looked better if it was cleared with FC720 :lol1 :lol1 :lol1
    BTW Have you seen my kids… that looks like there artwork on the walls :whistle:

    I totally agree,the color is gay 😛 But like I always say I just shoot em I don’t pickem.I think it would have looked better black,marina blue,matador red or butternut yellow,it reminds me of barney :rofl The vinyl roof is black and it was a 4spd but now it has a 6spd,kind of a cool old car.

    Yes I had to,this car has had a frame off restoration done to it,everything is painted and detailed underneath,nicer than the tops of some “nice” cars.
