Ok, not my car but i knew that I’ll eventually get a chance to work on one.
Been waiting since August 2004 when i started my shop. It’s a simple fender
and valance panel job but still cool to finally get one in! And a very clean
    example at that!

    Chromabase
    SPI Epoxy
    SPI Urethane Primer
    SPI MS Clear

*The fender was repainted and the color already off from the rest. But i got it close…

    *Sand P220 grit

    *2 coats epoxy primer > 2 coats urathane primer…

*Sand P800 grit. Ready for sealer, base and clear.

That looks really good Han. I’ve been wondering for a bit, do you paint for a living now or is this just a huge hobby for you? looks like your in a descent booth. That car looks awesome.

Ryan, I used an Iwata LPH400 (1.4). And the yellow/greenish covered well (3-4 coats).

Jimmo, i’m like a hobbyist with a shop, mix matching all sorts of brands. Dangerous!

Nice work Han, wow that is a clean Z:)

I have been on the look out for an early Z car for a while, but considering how much extra cash I have at the moment (none), I think it will be awhile.

You do Great work Han:) 🙂 🙂

Thanks Alex! But i think my work, on average, is just OK. But mainly due to shop conditions/limitations…

I understand broke! Extra money?? What the hell is that? 🙂

    I drive a 97 Tacoma!

I don’t know Han, sanding to p800 and then sealing. Epoxy, primer, blocking, then sealing before you do base a valance? Spending 30 or more hours sanding a buffing after a complete. I would say that that is way more than OK:) 🙂 🙂 🙂
