you mean an older 2000RP or a 3000RP, ? I dont know of anyone making a 3oz cup for any of those guns you can get SATA RPS cups in a 9oz size that will work on all SATA full size guns. maybe you could use a MInijet as the all use smaller cups.

You can get a 3M pps adapter to use with your SATA, then us the PPS cups. Or is this completely out of the question?

Have an 3000rp that we use for the community primer gun in the shop, all we have now is the full size cups for it. Was needing something that will allow us to spot prime without having to pull into the booth. Our jobber has offered us one of the 3m guns if we buy a case of the 3oz cups. Cleaning the cups with thinner really isn’t an issue cause we have a machine to bake it off and recycle it. Anyone have any opinions on the accuspray/3m primer guns?

I agree. It is a nice enough gun, really nothing wrong with it at all, but not any better than any other reasonable quality unit.

As for not spraying in the booth, if you intend on putting anything through any gun you will need some sort of ventilation, period.

i think whats going on is were are trying to comply with the EPA law for spraying outside a booth with nothing larger than a 3oz cup

I’d say start using 3oz mixing cups and call it good. 😉
