Is it any good worth buying? Supplier says they’re on special at min gun ,spare heads, box pps etc and stand for gun and heads all for £140
May 23, 2013 at 3:32 am #43211they arent terrible primer guns. nice low overspray. slow if you are doing big stuff. my jobber gave me mine a few years ago, just had to buy a box of nozzels for 18 bucks. so if you can get the stuff for about the price of a set of pps cups then go for it
I used one for a few years. As Ding said, great for smaller jobs (everyday collision stuff). 3m gave the gun for free. Only downside is you wouldn’t want to spray anything really large and you have to continually buy the tips and cups.
For the sake if convenience it is certainly great.
i really didnt like the gun. it came with a 1.8 tip which really wasnt that large enough to spray primer unthinned. its really slow. only upside to it is the low overspray as mentioned and the convenience of replacement heads. in my opinion its not worth it if your priming large jobs.

This was my first thought when he was telling me then after awhile I thought I remembered reading how good they where back in the day people seam to have changed their mind now.
I thought as I use pps (although I do wonder if its worth the cost every time I lift a new 1 lol) it’s not a crazy amount money more for gun.
I currently have a devilbiss pri for primer is the pri pro any different/advantage? - AuthorPosts
