I saw some talk on here and a video about using the 3M Accuspray gun for basecoat with a 1.4 tip. I was looking for some more information/updates. Did 3M ever actually release the 1.3/1.4 tips for this gun? Did it perform well with waterborne (even with blending high metallic silvers/golds?) I like the idea of having a basegun that is that easy to clean up. I currently use a Tekna Prolite with a 1.3 for spraying water. 1.4 Is bigger than I like to use for PPG/Sikkens water, but I’m assuming 1.3 is just too small with the way this gun sprays. You can’t beat the price, but will the results with base stand up to other higher end base guns? Also, we don’t use the PPS system at my shop, is there other adapters available for it? We are currently using DeVillbis DeCups,
