cromax pro WB90,WB91 mixed in gold colors like 4Q2 should be sprayed right away if left on the bench it will change color. Also reverse blending works lot better, just a few tips. There seems to be no 4Q2’s the same.

also don’t use the chips just do the camera with the make and paint code and use the camera picture that has been adjusted no matter what the reading is with the high metallic reduction makes blending much easier I’ve also found the thinner you can get it the better it spray but you lose the quick coverage but i’ve had good luck doing it this way with color match and no more halos and one more thing is do 3 to 4 12 inch passes to help with the really high metallic colors

Not scared to spray however, if the color is so so so wrong what you gonna do? Color and technique are both needed. Location of repair also a big factor.

Do a spray out and tint to blend, not butt match 😉 Thats about your only option,I also spray that color regularly and have no issues with sikkens autowave.

I have had pretty good luck with Lesonal base on that color. Eventually when that color gets a bit older I’m sure it will be harder to match. I remember getting a swarm of Toyota 4M9 that had seen just the right amount of sun that made tinting mandatory. Usually have cut out half the red and then done spray outs. I do enjoy reading that code out of a door job. good for a lol

Never remember having problem with this code uslay little bit of green will kill the red
When I’m tinting I uslay tint has much has possible with the toners in the forumla then if need litte green or yellow to kill the brightness

Also when ur chipping out the color I always take to count how my system mixes compared to the chip like some times slivers mix little darker and bluer or lighter blues tent to be to blue when mixed comped to the chip. But for some reasons whites still kick me in the butt mostly Toyota and Hondas when I used bc

The enviro has a good match. & in the dbc I use the //L formula. I really hated that color at first.
