Doesnt look like there was much for body work needed ?January 30, 2011 at 6:23 am #27813that is a mighty fine body you got there :dnc
nice work, despite the old school color…
January 30, 2011 at 1:20 pm #27831
hate ta say this but i luv that color
probably because you were alive in 1972 :silly:
January 30, 2011 at 5:44 pm #27835Not my favorite color but I bet it will look good once all done. Sometimes those old colors look nice once sprayed with newer paint. Seems the older colors in waterborne look cleaner.
Are you striping it Jayson? If you do stripe it do you ever flat and reclear them?
Your booth doesn’t seem to lack lighting!
January 31, 2011 at 12:19 am #27844No stripes ryan, although it would really set it off,all it’s getting is the tailpanel blacked out with semi-gloss black like the factory.
As for the stripes, yes I think that is the best way to do it,sand and re-clear,looks like this when done.
I like the aftermarket booth for the most part :rofl but lightinng is great.Soon we are going to get a variable frequency drive control on the intake motor so we can control the air balance :stoned
January 31, 2011 at 4:57 am #27850Wow, doesn’t look like she needed much filler that’s awesome, looks great jay! :dnc
February 6, 2011 at 5:19 am #28163Here is an update,Friday night after work I got the jambs on the car sprayed. Then it’s time to hang and align the parts, long block with 180,re-prime,wet block and paint.Seems like it should go fast but you know how it goes :kofee
