We spray 4’x8′ pieces of cardboard with a molten aluminum spray at work for doing some testing. Here is a short video I shot of it today. Basically it is a torch and has an aluminum wire that feeds into the back of it and the flame melts it. The gun weighs about 10 lbs I would say. Kinda loud so turn volume down.

Sometimes they burn a little if you don’t move fast enough. We spray the front with aluminum and then put a sheet of aluminum on the back. We then use our cnc router to scribe lines (zones). Wires are then connected to the front sprayed area(negative) and back foiled area (positive). We test bombs for the government and when it explodes the fragments go through it and connect electrically from front to back.
