Mine should be in any day, i”m looking forward to it. My colors haven’t been terrible with the camera I have, it doesn’t measure flake size, don’t recall the model. I’ve heard really good things about it (granted mostly from Dupont), but can’t wait to get my hands on it and see what it can do!

the biggest thing to me is not being able to sand the base and for me to make it spray better i have to over reduce and then i dont get coverage and my materials went through the roof

we switched last october from sikkens to standox stando blue pose to be same thing a dupont but the paint rep said its not said standox and spies hecker are two different animals than the dupont so far i havent had any problems i have the newest camera but i dont just rely on it i check the color decks and some times i use the vindicater option it seems to work better on 3 stage pearl whites than anything i would much rather be useing sikkens but this stuff anit to bad

I hate to be the grammar police, but no capitalization or punctuation makes it really difficult to read and follow. I know many are using their phones, but really…put some effort into it guys.

Is it quite common for you guys to use cameras for colour identification? I’ve never worked with a system that includes a camera so have never had the chance to use one.

Only on the systems that have bad color match :pcorn:
They come in handy at times when you have something you dont know the code of or is a custom peice

i agree out of all the paint systems I’ve used dupont is the only one u have to have the camera with cause color match isnt good and cant go by the chips

Ive used a camera a couple times where PPG shows 5 damn different variants. Most recently on those 2 new black trucks.

Why not just check the variant decks first

That is a recipe for disaster and not smart, check your variants first 68hrs or not.I paint up to 8 jobs a day and always check color, wait until you have to redo it when the color is off and you didn’t check :wak Cameras are not designed for checking color…..
