Amazing how many trim parts are put on with double sided tape any more isn’t it? I guess you can’t knock it if it works.nice job :cheers looks like it fits pretty tight
those aren’t chips rat, those are chunks ( about .25”)!! his front bumper was resprayed and it has super bad adhesion to the sealer. He got one coming over, they are huge. I told him to get it looked at, from where he bought the car from.
The double sided tape is hit and miss, the back barely stuck, the front worked like a charm, it just sucks if you need to remove and reinstall.

Cleaning with alcohol before applying helps. And if you wind up putting the tape on the part, wipe it all with adhesion promoter wipes first (specifically all raw plastic). The 3M adhesion promoter wipes work extremely well…

the rear was a dud, it has the red backing peeling off when I got it =(.
I am on a honda forum, and have been for 6 years, so I am known as the go to guy in my area for the 2003-2007 honda accord, so I have alot of people come to me, since i had a honda accord previously.
looks good nex. i got to admit you have the best butt match work i’ve seen.
It’s just standard 3m double sided tape. If it ain’t sticking hit up your local checker and make the cheap ass owners pay for it.
Last thing you need is the part falling off or something.
Like they said pre clean with alcohol and the adhesion promoter for that tape can do wonders.
And feel lucky you got that front seated right the first time. Otherwise you probably would have took half the paint off that front bumper trying to peel it back. :whistle:always a great job Nex!
