Does anyone know if there are any type of anti static wipes that can be used after tack clothing prior to application of base.

Just trying to make sure that the panels and body I have to paint are not charged up .

Any comments from those members out there that spend most of there working weeks in the booth.

    Cheers

There are several products out there. Sikkens has an antistatic cleaner. Having a little extra humidity in the booth seems to prevent static from getting worse while spraying. I know some guys will ground their metal parts.

I haven’t tried these Devilbiss wipes, but I’d like to:

Anything you wipe the object with between tacking and base is a risk.

Like Ben already mentioned, grounding may be an option.

    Thanks Ding,

I’ll get some DX103 and give it a try.

Yep, as mentioned, ground the body to the booth floor with a heavy chain. You can wrap the chain around the diff if your painting a roller.
