Where I work we are a sher will shop and we always use sikkens clears, superior 250 and energy pro. They both have good body and actually dry and keep a really good shine, I think we actually use more of it then our sherwill clears

Just curious if you prefer the sikkens clears why not just use the whole system?

I would refer to this post; maybe one of these users on the post can help you out with your question.
Hey just wondering if there is anyone spraying envirobase clears like the EC700 and EC750. I’m having some problems with die back or shrinking. I have a couple of jobs like front clips. They look awesome when i spray them and then i bake them. Look a little bit shrunk. I looked at the one i sprayed last week thursday and it looks horrible. We had to cut and polish the hood to make it look good, That really sucks when the hood only had a few dust nibs in it. My boss is pretty anal he almost wants a show quality job. To me it looks like a dried up orange the texture, that the best i can describe it. I also find that its pretty hard to get the clear to flow nice. I dont have much experience with any other clears. let me know what you guys think.
.

Tell your boss to call in the local PPG rep and get him to walk you through any issues you are having

I would personally like to switch to sikkens, unfortunately we are on a contract with sher will. We make there product work, that’s all I’ll say about that

I have talked to my boss about it. He used to be our painter for 20 years. He said when they come around they make it seem like our standards are to high and we expecting to much from there paint system. I’m happy with base, i believe the clears suck. We used to get better clear results out of our old cross draft. Spraying d893 and d894. I have dc2002 clear with my car for almost 5 years and haven’t polished it since right after i got it paint. Still looks good.
