When Canada switches to waterborne in Jan. 2010, I plan to use
    R-M Onyx.
But, there is also Glasurit 90 line. I know Glasurit is supposed to
be better, but is it much more pricier? Or just maybe 20-30% price
    difference?

I don’t think Glasurit is necessarily better, I don’t think you’ll be going wrong either way. RM and Glasurit in my neck of the woods is now very close in pricing, My RM clears are more then the Glasurits for the most part. I’ve heard really good things about Onyx.

    Thanks for reply Jimmo.

(Is it me or a section on right side is all blacked out?)

So I guess I’ll go with R-M. Did you guys switch yet?
If so, what are you doing?

I sprayed 90-line for about a year. Got my hands on some onyx at a R-M class about a month ago. I couldn’t tell a difference between the two. I feel sorry for you if you are forced to switch to water. The water is not ready for the market. It cut my production in half! Of course, we had no training. The stuff was dropped off and we were told to use the junk. Totally different monster. Since then, we have switched back to solvent and I couldn’t be happier. Production is back up and the creditors have stopped calling.

We haven’t made the switch yet, the decision isn’t up to me or we’d have made the move last year. I think we will be migrating to Onyx personally but not 100%, Glasurits still a maybe.

(If your having problems with the way the site is viewing I’d appreciate if you could PM me the details. Also let me know what web browser your using, thanks!)
