Hey guys just wondering who has used House of Kolor clear coats. How do they look, buff, hold up, and ease of use? I pretty much use PPG products, but I can get quarts of the KU100 and KU150 Catalysts pretty cheap so I may give their clear a try. I was thinking of using the UFC35 on an overall resto job and the UC35 for a bike. Also do i have to use the the HOK reducers or could i use PPG’s DT series instead. Any feedback would help my decision. Thanks

I have used and like them. Very nice clear. I find UFC kinda useless, just stick with UC35.

I would use the HOK reducers.

The uc35 is one of the nicest clears I’ve sprayed. Buffs like butter.

Thanks for the responses. If I use the UC35 how long should I wait before I buff. I do not have a heated booth.

    Give it 2-3 days.

Yup, UC35 is pretty good stuff.

I’ve cut through it before buffing too early though. Like said I would at least give it a full day. If not more.
