can i use this omni sv mc262 acrylic urethane clear over my ppg envirobase water base?
It doesn’t look like PPG deemed them compatible. That’s not to say it’s guaranteed they won’t work together but you will be taking a chance. If you want to be in the safe the PPG Global clears are compatible with EHP basecoats
It will work but ppg will not stand behind if it fails later….

JUST DO IT. chances are it’ll work. but no one will recommend it like crossing reducers, or hardners. in my own experiments lots of things are compatiable.

Why don’t you phone ppg’s 1-800 techline and get it straight from the horses mouth.In my paint line there are some clears that will work over waterborne and some that won’t.It’s not like the old days where you can use whatever you have laying around the shop and it will work.The worst thing that can happen is it will come back with the clear peeling off and you will have to re-do it.And don’t listen to that bull sh&t that the only reason the clear won’t stick is because it was cleared to soon and there was water trapped.Even if you do everything by the book the fact remains that some clears will not stick.
