best product for rock chip guard?

I have been using 3m no clean up rock chip guard. The prob I have with this stuff is by about the third time I go to use it, it just comes flowing out on its own creating a hell of a mess. So pretty much wasting most of the can. Wandering what alternatives are out there?

We use the guns that come in the upol raptor bedliner kits for free or a shutz gun is about $30.Only bad thing is it takes an hr to dry but if you manage your time right you can do it before it hits the booth,no biggie.
I don’t do very many so usually just use the spray can stuff. Can be interesting to match the texture but works ok. Tried the water based one and hate it.
