While were on that topic, what do you guys think about overlapping? I have a bodyman that swears it’s the best way. The only procedure I’ve really seen is GM’s which wants you to put a sleve behind. Any idea if theres a preferred method?

NOT ALL MANUFACTURES RECOMMEND SLEEVES/INSERTS,,,,TOYOTA LIKES THE BUTT WELD I PREFER SLEEVES IT MAKES A NICE FINISHED JOINT I TRY TO STAY WITH WHAT IS SUGGESTED BY VEHICLE BRAND ALSO WHAT IS TALKED ABOUT AT I-CAR AND ASE… ALONG WITH CORROSION PROTECTION PROCEDURES AND PROPER STEPS TO BE TAKEN TO PREPARE THE PINCHWELD FOR A NICE AND SAFE B) 😛 :silly: :side: :hunt GLASS INSTALL,,,ALSO ANOTHER POINT IS THAT MORE TIME MAY BE ADDED ON ESTIMATE FOR ALL THESE PROCEDURES AS LONG AS THEY ARE DOCUMENTED AND PICTURES TAKEN,,,, 😉 :cheer: :silly:

September 2, 2009 at 7:07 am #15644that excursion just take a bedding compound around the perimeter of the frame that bolts in its a powered flip out with a full frame around it what a pita pretty easy though 🙂
