Try out green air booths , always selling their services on eBay to help design booths to people’s needs. I spoke to them once and he seems to know his stuff. Also seen a booth he made and it’s still flying after 10 years. If you’re after an air dry clear try Sherwin Williams hpc15 , without doubt the best when in the right hands and their air dry primer .

Its nearly built now mate, just sorting out the plenum box but trouble im having is the ducting is big 780 mm so to fit that the plenum will stick out on wall a bit further than i wanted ? And then we have to make a large 4 meter wide x 2.2 meter tall door that slides to open ! Gonna be a challenge lol
I am looking into that air dry primer by sw but its £80 for a litre but with thinners and hardener should around 3 litres sprayable ?

Sounds a bit of a challenge alright ! As far as I understand the inlet fan should be a little more powerful than the exhaust fan as you don’t want a negative pressure which leads to dust problems through small cracks , light openings , door gaps etc. And especially when you open the door to leave the booth. Try and make it positive pressure though the health and safety executive won’t like it

If health and safety guy comes hes going in the pit lol

Hi guys just an update, i have fitted fan and ducting and filter box but have a bad leak around roof where ducting goes through ! Got to sort that the weekend !
What i would like to ask is my filters box is 3 meters x 2 meters and 900 mm out from wall and its really loud ! I havent tried it with filters yet but im hoping it dulls the noise down a bit ? How loud is your homebuilt booths ?

Never measured the noise coming from ours but it is quite noisy to be honest. We can just about have a conversation over it. Is it a new fan your using? As ours was really loud until we changed the bearings a couple of years ago. Get some pictures uploaded of your booth we would all like to see it!
