Yea, no big deal, just cut it down with 600 a bit and finished it off with higher grits, it wasn’t bad.

Great job nex! I see odg bustin ur balls on the 101 over the lack of adhesion promotor on the plastic. Small area’s like that I tend not to worry about either, never had an issue.

Looks nice Nex. You really have a good setup for this stuff.

Looks like you could use a more substantial stand 😉

What do you use for color blender? And what gun did you shoot the base with? you said orange cap iwata? I learned my clear cap sucks on light metallics 🙁

Mo, if I am not hard on myself then you all will be! haha thanks though!!

Jimmo, I know the ODG comment didn’t hold much water as I had 180 grit scratches. I use A/P on new plastics scuffed with a pad, but thanks for the support!

Lild, the video ended like yours, nice and glossy, and with a run of course lol.

Nelson, It is an iwata lph 1.3 orange cap. I am using DBC500 color blended. it mixes 1:1 with your color on your last coat.

you could probably get away without it on a bumper job. just something to use when you need it on a tough color when blending a hood or having issues mottling a color

Great video on the bumper repair and painting job. explain the paint booth setup and ventilation. Is it used in the garage that is attached to your house.
