The Iwata LVX would be a great choice if you are wanting a gun that use can use for both base and clear. Then later on you can get the specialized caps if needed. Go for the 1.4 tip.

Thanks for the help. Seems like a lot of people are using the 1.4 tips.

Is anyone using the Tenka X gun that’s being giving away? If so, how well does it work?

your gonna be hard pressed to find a gun in the price range that you are looking in that is better than the iwata. iwata and sata are usually the guns to have. i prefer sata for primer and mini gun but iwata for base and clear. sata is really expensive though and out of th range you want to spend.

I have a Tekna. What would you like to know?

OK – I tossed in a bid on the guys other gun. The LVX arrived at my door this AM and aside from the fact that he doesn’t know how to clean a gun, I can believe the claim that it’s only been used on a single car. The reserve is going to be somewhere around $280 and I won’t bid again (just tossed in a low ball bid to see where his reserve was).

Why not just buy a LV aircap and call it a day. It will cost around $100 and you will have the gun you are bidding on. Also if you want a different nozzle size all you need is the nozzle. Same aircap and needle as long as you stay from a 1.3 to 1.6.

Go for the Devilbiss GFG 670 Plus gun they are good guns and there cheap! unless you can find a good deal on a SATA or IWATA. But Parts are REALLY expensive for them!

Devilbiss parts are really cheap and you can get any size tip you need for them for 25 bucks.

I also saw a gun called accuspray 05-100. It was at tri-city. It didn’t have an air knob on the bottom instead it had a pressure regulator valve that screwed on that was preset air pressure. Non-adjustable. I can get that for $120. The guy said that it was a copy of the sata gun. Said it was very good. ????

Not trying to be a knob, but last I checked $435 is more expensive than $280. That’s an Iwata LPH 400 for very little. This gun has been listed twice with no bidders. Your call.

    Hey knob… j/k lol

seems like it has bidders now. Did you email him asking what his reserve was set at?
I know that 435 is higher than 280. I was asking about the gun as it seemed to be bragged about a lot.

I bought his other gun for $290 with no reserve. He started this one out lower to get a few bidders. So I’d guess that his reserve is around that mark.
