chopstick scuff pad trick

I spent a little time on the iwata forum last night and kept reading recommendations for this chopstick scuff pad trick. Hub always tells everyone to send him a pm and he will give them the instructions on how to do this but I cant due to the fact that I dont have enough activity on the forum to do this. Anyone have a copy of this? Thanks for the help.

No kiddin Andy…why let your gun get that dirty that you need to clean it with a scuff pad :blink: …and to think I had to learn the secret Iwata hand shake to find out :).

Cheers 😛i was never privialeged enough to get a PM for the secret, but from what I have heard, If you properly clean your spray gun after each use, you wont need the super secret chopstick trick 😉

I’ve actually found I’m using it quite a bit nowadays, since I don’t have a decent way of cleaning my guns on the van. Of course, since I’m using small guns mostly a chopstick is way too big so I use the end of a wooden touch up brush instead.
I have a fair idea, but I’d love to know the full in’s and out’s of whatever Hub meant about it.
He pm’d it to me before but I could never recieve it for some reason :unsure: must’ve been to do with my firewall.
So if some good ole soul had a email with the info could they please send it as I never ever believe that there’s nothing to learn from even the smallest of tips.
