I spent a little time on the iwata forum last night and kept reading recommendations for this chopstick scuff pad trick. Hub always tells everyone to send him a pm and he will give them the instructions on how to do this but I cant due to the fact that I dont have enough activity on the forum to do this. Anyone have a copy of this? Thanks for the help.

What. you can share with the rest of us :huh:September 28, 2012 at 6:45 am #38426I have never been able to figure out why it’s such a secret! I know what it is but I’m too afraid I may get called out for telling everyone!
September 28, 2012 at 6:47 am #38427Well since Hub doesn’t just post it, I figured I wouldn’t either in case he wants it that way.

Clean your guns properly and you’ll never have need of it 😉

February 4, 2013 at 5:55 pm #41056Hi folks,
I’m a new poster to this forum but have been following it for some time with great interest.
Could someone pm me please with the ‘magic’ chop stick trick, I am curious to see how it works.
Cheers!February 12, 2013 at 3:10 am #41318Apologies for bumping, but any chance someone could pm the chop stick trick to me please.
Cheers 😛February 12, 2013 at 4:00 am #41321i was never privialeged enough to get a PM for the secret, but from what I have heard, If you properly clean your spray gun after each use, you wont need the super secret chopstick trick 😉

I’ve actually found I’m using it quite a bit nowadays, since I don’t have a decent way of cleaning my guns on the van. Of course, since I’m using small guns mostly a chopstick is way too big so I use the end of a wooden touch up brush instead.
February 13, 2013 at 3:08 am #41335I have a fair idea, but I’d love to know the full in’s and out’s of whatever Hub meant about it.
He pm’d it to me before but I could never recieve it for some reason  must’ve been to do with my firewall.
So if some good ole soul had a email with the info could they please send it as I never ever believe that there’s nothing to learn from even the smallest of tips. - AuthorPosts
