    Alright chaps

    Little colour change job we have doing over the last week thought i would share with you.

    Local baker decided to tidy up his tired old Ford Transit Connect Panel Van
    Did all the plastics as well.

    Odd to think of that as being “tired an old”. We’ve just begun seeing them in the states within the last year.

    A bit off topic, but what primer is that? Reminds me of Lechler GTI.

    wow i really like your work! what steps or materials did you take for plastic adhesion? weren’t those trim pieces the textured type?

    Yes they were all textured

    Clean all plastics with a plastic preclean left to sit awhile.

    Sanded 240 disc

    one coat of plastic adhesion promoter

    there coats of build primer

    Dry sand 500

    base and clear

    done it this way many times and never had a problem.

    It’s a good build primer, one of the best i have used i really like it, block’s so easy and feather edges really well.

    Yes, I used to like it too. We had a full Lechler scheme in so could tint it with their HS colours as well.

    No one see that they are not the same van? Look at the distance between the lock and the molding, and the body line below it. They can not be from the same van and can not be update. Beside that, the grill, the bumper…

    What’s the story here, mate?
