well said :whistle:The biggest problem with that site is that the few pro’s using it aren’t there to learn anything themselves, they just frequent the site to preach to DIY’ers from up on their high horse, then there’s this site, where experienced tradespeople trade information and learn from one anothers experiences (and we help the odd Do-it-yourselfer which is good too). I consider this website to be an awesome asset to my career. I guess what I’m trying to say is: thanks ya douchebags! 😉
I guess I shouldn’t paint such a bad picture, there are some pretty knowledgeable people on there. But you have to sift through a lot of f***ing eggheads and I can’t say I’ve really learned anything overly useful over there.
IMO this trade is always changing with new technologies and techniques coming into play. It’s a recipe for disaster for the close minded. The first step to failure is thinking/claiming you know it all
