I’ve been looking into this.
Paypal’s merchant accounts are fairly reasonable and competitive rates. Free setup, they don’t charge for monthly statements, and they don’t have a monthly minimum. Easy on line access (like all paypal accounts.)
And of course they have better customer service than most.

You can accept payments through Phone, Fax, ,mail, email, and in person.

Another benefit is you can incorporate your credit card acceptance into your website free with paypal so customers can pay their bill online without giving out their personal information over the phone. (And people generally feel safe with the paypal name.)

I will never deal with “Pay-Pal” again!

I had a problem with them years ago and had to talk to a bunch of “Rag Heads” that could barely speak English!

When they found out that they screwed up,,,,,they hung up the phone on me!

If you like paper work,,,,Go for it! (Just be careful!)

Their premier members and merchant members get American support. :lol1
(sort of messed up you have to be someone to get special treatment, but oh well. who isn’t using out of country phone support any more)

I know every Credit card and bank based company I’ve ever dealt with sure as hell is.

ding, i use this place:

http://merchantwarehouse.com/

i dont have a machine of anykind. i opted to not have one and pay a little extra for the http://www.authorize.net service where its all done online through their website.

i have had the account with them for a good 7-8 years now. when i set it up i got a really fair rate with them. i have no idea what it is though now, i forget. just rememebr that when shoppong around its like buying a car. most of these places will work the #’s to get your business a bit. they will deal……a little.

Actually TRUE Indians are born in India, when white people came from England to the new world they thought they found the trade passage to India they were looking for, and called the Native Americans Indians, but being a proud Cherokee I’m sure you knew that.

I just went with my bank…easy, one place to deal with…a little more expensive but I get great service.

It is expensive though…but separates your garage from the fly by nights…
