    Thought maybe someone here would be interested in this. It was fun to do something custom for a change. The stock lights for this car come completely cleared out with the mandatory red reflector in the tailight housing. Some of these owners really do prefer the stock looking aspect of red and clear lights, so that is where this job orginated from.

    [b]After sanding them down and deglossing the surface, the lights were masked off with 1/8 fine line tape to create the division between the reverse light and the brake light portion.[/b]

    [b]Then the lights were sprayed with a transparent red, about 4 coats for the right shade of re[/b]d.

    yes, the original lights in the tails were red, and the clear section is for the reverse.

    Before they looked washed out, particularly on a car of that colour.
