Hi guys

Last year i put in a new dent pulling system “the miracle system” as it is known here do you guys use similar systems over the pond.

the older dent pullers are getting a little dated now with introduction of the modern steels, and because of the ammount of heat they generate. This is usally evident when you look on the rear of the panel and the protective coating has been burnt black. This leads to corrosion problems for the vehicle in later life.

Anyway here is a slide show of a repair.

There is quite a few repair senario’s in the menu on the left of the page.
The porsche repair second down on the menu is quite a big repair, comes out real nice.

Ryan we love this system it is very versatile, my old pin welder justs sits in the corner now, never been used since we got this.

Downside is it cost arms and legs to buy very expensive, but my motto is if we can make our life easier and i can afford i will buy it.

End of the day if the man on the job can repair it quicker, thats more money in the pot for future tool investment.

One of the great things about using the strong puller pic below is you can lock the puller under tension on the dent you then have two hands free to do any hammer and dolly work

never had that problem if you use plenty of eyelets on the damaged area there is not so much localised pressure on the crease/dent

on really strong areas they have to be placed realy close like this.

you can even pull crease’s out of chassis legs, put leg under load from your pull ram then use the strong puller on the kinked area

sorry very small pic of chassis but you get the idea

That is cool id imagine with this there is less ripping which is easy to do with other tools. I have pretty good success with the wiggle wire i weld on with our prospot then use a bear claw puller, but this looks better.

yea i have used wiggle wire in the past, and it’s okay as well but you get a far stronger pull with this system.

The company are bringing out a new version of this tool and it will be able to pull A post’s i have not seen it as yet but quite keen to see how it works. Great if you dont have to mount on the rack for a pull on a post.

That’s pretty cool.
Watching some of the video’s it seems like they took all the steps necessary to fully complete the repair. Nothing seems left out.

But damn, I’ll bet it is damn expensive…
So what are we talking? 30 grand?

So can someone explain Wiggle wire to me? I’ve never seen it done.
I would assume you just spot/tack weld the wire in multiple places. and then pull from the other side?

Cool system 4-5k I could see but not much more. all it is is a diffrent twist on the spot weld system/Gluing system with some really cool pullers. But still I couldn’t see more than 5 grand for a complete deal it wont be long someone will copying it and be selling it for less.

Rat
You dont know what Wiggle wire is?
http://www.autobodytoolmart.com/hs-auto-shot-uni-wire-kit-p-10302.aspx Works with any stud welder deal.

I use this instead
http://www.autobodytoolmart.com/uni-clamp-1080-p-10304.aspx
I made up a deal I could mount to my slide hammer to really get a good yank on the studs works pretty good but like all things it has limitations.

The wiggle wire would be cool if you could get on it with something stronger than those hand held finger pullers though.

Hmm whole discusion has me thinking though.
