I was wondering if anyone else has a full time detailer at their shop.
Sorta, our detailer is a young guy who’s primary job is vehicle cleanups. He can’t colorsand/polish really, but he can do really nice job with the rest. He helps prep when their no vehicles to wash.

ya my boy bondo jr spent about 4 yrs managing a large detail shop also does window tinting an installs all kinds of crap youd never want on a car till he went ta work driving truck for ups did i mention he has a apartment upstairs in my shop….he can get a car cleaner in an hr than i can spending all day on it an yes he does come in handy around here lil bugger can run a buffer better than anybody ive ever seen i dont even have ta leave the paper on the cars any more cuz he dont need it….i hope he stays part time long enough ta train my 17 yr old ta do some of that stuff:)

Four detailers at the shop I’m at. They buff, wash and do interiors.
wow, that must be a fair sized shop.
I want to say it is about 42,000sqft. There is up to five estimaters, two parts guys, 10 to 14 body guys, four preppers, two painters, two production managers and 3 mechanics. Biggest place I have ever been in.
