so after talin with my paint filter guy, i was told that the paint pocket filters were not recomended for water type paints, and sent me some filters that were newly design for such paint.
the reason why i wanted some differnt kind of filters, is that the old fiberglass standards were cloging up in a week with the eviro base, as before i could get 3 weeks out of them.
i have some pics of the old yellow standard and the new orangeish pinkish one’s.the new one’s are thicker layed, you can almost see too layers in the white, and don’t seem to be woven a tightly together as the old ones, and have a weird spaghetti lookin thing goin on the top. which was hard to cut, and they are epa compliant. i just got them in on fri. afternoon, so i will see how long they will last.
Attachments:March 6, 2011 at 8:01 pm #29214i think they do cost a lil more. but not sure how much. i get a 100ft less in a roll with the new ones, but hopeing that i don’t have to change out every week. so i’m looking a cost neatural thing here.
ben i used to have the green ones, but my supplier switch me over to the yellow ones a few yrs back. i couldn’t be sure, but i know the yellow ones are 98% effecient. so i would think the green ones are not. i would have to find out.

March 26, 2011 at 4:31 am #29843oh, i see, if i flip them around, i should get another 3 weeks out of them.
