We have one but a Regular TV antenna Cable and Satellite are not allowed in my home! we do order and watch DVD’s of are choosing though and watch as a family.
But I refuse to allow my kids to watch what is pre-programed.
I have a major problem with all the networks programming with all the Political correctness and Alternative lifestyle BS being shoved down my throat, Drugs, Politics, etc..Not too mention all the infomercials that air all the time.
I absolutely refuse to let my kids watch it!
You cant even watch a news channel without someone Else’s Point of view being pressed upon you, Ever notice how there’s only there side of the story to air?I used to think parents that didnt have a TV or let there kids watch TV were freaks but now I think diffrently, I wish more people thought for themselves.
October 28, 2009 at 1:39 am #16638I have got to agree with you. When I see people like Paris Hilton on TV I have to wonder what it is she does. If you have seen her act, you know she can’t act. If you’ve heard her sing, you know she can’t sing, and if you saw her sex video you know she can’t do that either. Kids see that and they want to be just like her. Totally worthless and tons of money.Sends a bad message.

October 28, 2009 at 5:19 am #16645I watch sattelite, and try to get all my news from the Colbert report or the daily show with Jon Stewart.lol. And even tho i get tired of looking at cars sometimes there a new show on Speed called super cars exposed which is pretty sweet. but if I really wanna get aggravated and throw something at my tv, an episode of pimp my ride will do it. As far as kids go, the discovery channel has come a long way in entertainment while still keeping its education value. Same with the Natinal Geographic Channel. Just mu opinion tho

Or watch them online, My kids are welcome to watch them online as well.As far as news goes haven’t found one yet that isn’t pushing some sort of agenda
October 28, 2009 at 7:57 am #16650Ya those two comedy central news programs are usually pushing the f*&k the mainstream media agenda. Thats whats so cool about them. Youtube Jon Stewart and Bill Oreilly. Stewart pretty much puts him in his place. Kinda classic really.
AnonymousOctober 28, 2009 at 3:46 pm #16653I watch a fair bit of the tube, just a bit of news. We have satellite (starchoice), used to have a system that picked up both Bell (Canada) and dishnet (US). It was interesting to see the difference, especially the news casts. It seemed with the US news 2/3 stories were about a homicide. The Superbowl commercials were a lot better though.
October 28, 2009 at 6:11 pm #16654Jimmo, I have been spending a lot of time in Canada as of late. I really like to watch the news about the USA so I can see what is really gpoing on. Most of our news has spilled over to far right or far left lunacy. I prefer FOX because I am a conservative and do not care for the current administration. It is very hard to debunct anything they say, but they do tend to post more than 50% negative about the left. It would be nice to see a little more positive of anything.
October 28, 2009 at 7:56 pm #16656Anything on the US news is garbage. Fox is the only one that is somewhat true. I’m not much of a liberal.

Couldnt have said it better myself! Thats why I dont watch.Fox sucks they dont know what republican conservative or Independent means any more! That and they are only running propaganda for the Republican party its not a news source.
CNN and all the rest including all local stations are not Liberals there Socialists! and there trying to push there Liberal BS on every one and doing a good job of brainwashing the entire country into Socialism!
None of them actually broadcast real news any more its who was kicked off Survivor or Dancing with the Stars or some other Brain dead TV show the rest is how wrong Bush was or how great Obama is And the Terrorists are going to get you!
