I am going to shoot Epoxy over the bare fiberglass(vette), I would prefer to shoot the Polyester (Evercoat High Build) right over the Epoxy within the time window..? I have done this before with 2k but not the polyester. Anybody have any experience in this area. .?

You stripped the whole thing to raw glass? If so, I’d poly the whole works right away. There’s no need to epoxy the glass since adhesion will not be a problem, and you will undoubtedly have a lot of leveling to do.
October 29, 2012 at 2:10 am #38825I stripped it bare. I thought I read somewhere on this site it’s recommended to Epoxy first as a moisture and sealing barrier, but not everyone did this additional step. I guess my theory is that there is just a slight bit more build. As you said, lots of leveling to do,…and the color will be black.
October 29, 2012 at 4:24 am #38827remember poly primer is non going to seal, so you’ll have to spray more epoxy on top of it all. I just wouldn’t waste the extra epoxy.
almost everything I spray is glass or plastic.
