Mine right now is glasurits 923-200, it might be 929-200, anyway the 200’s the important part, whats yours?
March 30, 2008 at 12:35 pm #10029Its hard to pick, if I had to go with one it would be 923-109, I like that its preflexed to.
AnonymousMarch 30, 2008 at 2:53 pm #10040I like clear thats gone and bin payed for B) the kind thats already home in the customers garage B)
April 6, 2008 at 3:00 pm #10104I like the 923-109, 923-455 and the 923-550 from the Glaso line…
Currentley I’m using PPG, so my favorites are the 2021, followed by the 3000 and 4000I love the limco lch4000 for a cheap clear on old cars. 923 109 also works extremely well, but because its preflexed it is remarkably slow, I havent tried the dc5300, have heard only fantastic things, but my tried and true favortie is the glazo 923 255, because its an all around good workhorse clear with fairly desirable characteristics,i.e., buffing, job costing, recoating, speed, gloss retention, ease of usage and so on. Do any of you glazo guys remember the 94 clear? That was my favorite of all time, smooth as a babys derrier and easy to use.B)
AnonymousApril 6, 2008 at 6:22 pm #10112ya had ta ask but the best clear ive ever seen is the crossfire 15410@420 clears in the ms line they blow every clear ive ever used away even their 700 series clears witch i was hugely dissapointed in i cant help that its only 80 bucks for a kit!!!:S the 5010@20 is pretty dam nice stuff to if the spot clear drys as fast or faster than the 730 i was using an looks like it cost me twice as much!!ive been using it for about 2 yrs now an the stuff i painted 2 yrs ago looks just as good as the day i shot it…cant say that for the premium clears in my line though:( ive called the guys in reno an my paint rep ta ask em why? this stuff works so much better than my premium stuff an nobody can give me an answer
