Hey,
As far as I know the site bugs are all taken care of so I wanted to see if anybody is having any problems with the site so I can try and have them resolved. A few recent changes/fixes:
[b]community software upgraded[/b]
– fixed profile status/share (post custom messages to the wall)
– profile page layout, several functions to customize your profile/settings
– private messaging seems to be working, friend system, groups & events
– photo / video sharing (now tagable)[b]forum upgrade [/b]
– most of this is on the backend so hopefully you dont see any difference. It was a significant upgrade to prevent the forum from slowing
down as we grow, it may have increased the loading speed.
[b]dont forget you can edit your forum settings/signature from the top menu -> user tools -> forum settings[/b][b]social sharing [/b]
– Just a quick note on the sharing buttons. They do provide a function in growing the site, the more often pages are liked/shared on a social
site it generates a link back here which helps tell google and other search engines that its a page worth reading and ranks us better.
It helps out more then many might think. So the more you use them, the more your helping the site grow.So ya, on that note. Thanks all and let me know if you have any suggestions or problems. :weights
Oh, and another thing I’ve done is adjust the forum redirect. So if you log into the site on a forum topic page, you will stay on that page rather then be redirected to your profile. I found that rather annoying.
Well it seems to have solved my problem of the forum never remembering me, and having to log back in every time I visit.
