i have this car im working on that suffered fire damage to the entire inside of the rear clip and surface rust on the interior trunk compartment. any ideas on the best way to remove the burnt seam sealer, paint, and rust to take it down to bare metal? i dont have access to a sand blaster and was thinking in lines of a wire wheel but that sounds a bit inefficient. any ideas on what to buy would be greatly appreciated, thanks

I was thinking that a D.A. would catch all the rust and get it down to the bare metal.

only easy way to do that Mo is to hire a $10hr and let him have at it
but really wire wheels and a dynazip are about the best way for all the nooks and crannies. da and mini da for the spots you can get at with those. maybe a spot blaster for the little corners you can get at with anything else

burnt seam sealer usually comes off well with a scraper or wire brush/wheel. Getting the rust off sounds like a PITA.

    Can you post some pics?

those clean and strip discs are incredible. I don’t hardly use wire anymore for that type of operation.
