First Water paint job

    Well its not much but tried out some envirobase. Just an old VW fender

    The envirobase is nice to use, very good product.

    Is your shop looking to convert to Envirobase, or just had some to play with?

    I have 55 line now. talked to my rep about just swapping to diamont tints to save some money. he wants me to try onyx instead. so i figure if i am going try water i might as well try them all

    Looks real nice Dinger,nice clean work,so what did you think of the envirobase?How is that Yellow norton tape working for you :p

    The tape kinda sucks. :blink:
    the ppg seemed ok. kinda hard to tell on one fender. dried pretty good. lays flat. the nexa clear i got to try was nice

    Is there a special technique you use to get that much orange peel in the Liberty or is it just natural talent? 😆

    I bet you would like to know my secrets to such a great texture :whistle: but your a sikkens guy so I cant share them with you 😛

    The nexa clear sprayed nice and held out beautiful. even looks good today :cheer:

    I know it was a joke. Kind of hard to put it on as peely as some of the OEM jobs…
