Hi
I have just completed all the bodywork on a mini, prepped it all and shot the base coat which was fine.
I sprayed 1 coat of 2k lacquer which was also going well until the flies descended in droves.
my question is can I sand the flies out using 1200-1500 wet & dry and then reshoot the lacquer?Any suggestions would help
with only one coat of clear your going to struggle !
best thing to do would prob be knock it down with 800 and re shoot base then at least 2 coats of clear allowing flash times
what i do if theres a fly is get a pair of tweezers and take the fly out it will leave a crator in the paint that will fill on the next coat …… if its clean and you have that small crator were the fly was …block sand level with 1500g 2000g then polish

usually if i can catch the little F#C#ER still moving after i taped the bastard out, ill murder that little shit dwelller by dropping it in a small pool of solvent or if im having a really stressfull week ill wind down a pair of vice grips to hold it in place while i stick the creature full of holes untill it stops moving. havent happend too me yest but this guys daughter in ky told me her dad had stray cats walking through his hood job, pretty sure i woulda strung it up and beat it with a louisville of and on for a couple hours. :deadhorse :hunt :rock :chair
