Iwata rep stopped by the shop with the LS-400, he’ll be back in a few hours to let me demo one for base and another for clear. Just wondering if anyone has used this gun and what you thought of it. I’m kind of a SATA junkie but I’m always open to trying new stuff. I know Ryan will have something interesting to say. Anyone else who’s used this gun let me know! :silly:
April 29, 2010 at 10:42 pm #20959I’m testing 2 of them right now.
So far for base it does pretty good. Doesn’t put out the amount of material I would like, but not far off. It is by far the most comfortable gun I have ever sprayed with.
I would like to try out the WS400 for clear though. HVLP’s seem to struggle with the particular clear I use.
Your right that it is a very comfortable gun to hold. I didn’t notice just how much more comfortable it was till I picked up my SATA after. It’s a very well balanced gun I found. I was impressed with how well it put out clear but I’m still not sold on HVLP for c/c. Very nice base gun. I was pretty satisfied.
May 3, 2010 at 6:41 am #21008All I ever used is a Sata, 1.4 hvlp for water base & 1.3 for HS+ clear. Sikkens. We all used the Binks No 7 and then the Devibas JGA….LOL! Question, should I try an Iwata too? For base or clear ?
