Who says you cant make money swapping frames. Not sure if this is the right way to do it but ill have less than 15hrs in this desiel van frame swap. leaving the drivetrain attached to the body saves so much time;)

we had a frame with 19k miles on it. left the rear and front susp in. my father swapped the gears today cause they were a diff ratio and he did the rear axle seals and rear brakes. he’ll do the front brakes tomm. i have about 8hrs in it pulling the frame. swapping the exhaust putting a new fuel tank in, tranny xmember putting the frame back under and bolting everything back up

    I am impressed too!
How in the Heck did you leave the engine and tranny in the thing to do that?
I see the cradle between the seats and the tranny lift supporting the engine pan But Dam???
You didn’t use any more than that to support the engine?
I have an engine support brace that sits between the fenders I guess you could have used one of those to hold the engine up, but that’s a heavy sob I would be afraid it would hurt the fenders, or bend my support.
Is that a Ford or Chevy I cant tell?

How did you support the engine & tranny while you rolled the frame in and out? :woohoo:

And I thought I was Crazy

    😛 😛 😛
the chians on the inside held up the back of the motor and tranny and i hookd a cherry picker to the front of the motor to raise it up while lifting the body off. the tranny jack was just put under the oil pan for secondary safety meaures as the cyl on the cherry picker had a leaky seal and would slowly lower itself down
