This was after 4 hours of stripping out Messed up wiring and repairing the original wiring harness, I pulled about 5 miles of unused and unusable wires out of this thing dont know who has been messing with it but they didn’t know squat about wiring!
Replaced all the broken Junk China made roller rocker arms with OEM stock ones and replaced the valve covers as well.
It runs good now it hardly ran when it came in it had 6 broken rocker arm’s and 8 wore out push rods and two bent ones.
Still need to get some after wireing & repairs pics maybe tonight after it gets steam cleaned. should have started there to begin with every thing was coated in oil, It was leaking out of the valve covers as fast as we poured it in when we bought it.Saw this and all we could do is laugh

I dont know if the hood will work or not I dont think so parts truck is 87 Diesel 2wd the thing is a 77 4×4 I think we will be lucky to be able to use the doors, The seat bolted right in, the fenders are definitely different.
It’s gonna be a while before we get around to painting this one but it was a fun little side project to get away from the that Intrepid.
Looks like you got your work cut out for you man, but good luck on the project. Definately a step in the right direction by replacing the chinese junk with stock. I think alot of people underestimate the quality/durability of stock parts when they are in perfect running condition. Guys around here think a “hot” 350 means it actually runs on 8 cylinders. lol
Ya I like stock parts for hi performance use.
When I was a lot younger I used to do a lot of street racing and while most guy’s were buying what they seen or read about in magazines I was kicking there buts buy just buying stuff that worked from the Dealer for racing, Weather it was Chevy or Dodge. This thing is going to be a shop side project in between real projects.
