    Hello all.
I have been using Glasurit 90 line for about a year and a half for the whole time I have had to tint 85% of the colors. The color matches are just no good. My reps aren’t much help. So, the question is, am I doing something wrong or do the color matches just suck???
    Thanks for your help.

Do you use the colormax chip decks to compare the card to what you are painting? If the chips you are selecting match the parts you are painting you may be doing something incorrectly. The colormax 2/3 decks are sprayed in Glasurit water. I have 5 shops in my territory using 90 line and over 60 shops using Onyx. Its never been a problem in my region for color matching. Give me some details about your conditions ie; temp humidity levels, etc

Not my first rodeo either pal,120 k doesn’t mean anything and everyone knows paint reps make so much :wak .Your bragging up a product that has issues and everyone knows it.Maybe tell the truth instead of knocking everyone elses product just to make a sale, that is the same old bullshit that everyone is tired of……

You mad bro? When did i ever say 90 line was the greatest system ever? Thats right i never did. I asked a simple fucking question as to if the color match was different from the selected chip. So whatever magical paint line you spray that has no problems lets hear it im all ears. I dont push 90 line on anyone. SO FTFY

And yeah i make alllllot less as a rep but i realized watching my kid grow up was more important than making $ you cant enjoy. Once again you assume i said i make alot as a rep

Well guess what? Ive used it and made money with it. Are there other line besides BASF that work great? Yep. Ive sprayed alot more than BASF and made money as well.

We do use the colormax cards sometimes more of the cards match the car other times the cards don’t look to bad but once sprayed the color does not match the cards or the car. The temp in the booth is usually around 70. Not sure about exact numbers for humidity but the area I Live it’s usually not high or low.

What PSI do you recommend using? I’m using a Sata 3000 HVLP.

I’m going to be looking at the accuracy of my scale next.
