Whats the number on the clear your referring to? I think 923-255 may be the one, but if you give me the number I’d know better.

They are both nice clears. They spray completely different though. Both hold gloss very well and I can run the piss out of either of em
Any reason you want to stray from HS+?

thanks for the replys, its 923-255 that am thinking of buying, i fought the sikkens kinda dulled after a few weeks, maybe its cause i was using a ici fast hardener with it? thanks

It isn’t my choice of glasurit clears, not that I can use it now anyway (non-low voc clear). From what I recalled it was one of the easier glasso clears to run but left a nice finish. (i dont need any help running clear, so I prefer the thicker clears..lol) My rep told me it was the most popular clear and many other guys liked it so to each there own I suppose. It wasn’t the fastest drying clear either so it didn’t work so well for me in a busy shop.

well if lacquer is another countries way of saying clearcoat, one of my favorites was 923-109. Currently im using 923-200 (in bake booth) & 923-240 (air-dry booth).

923-255 is a fine clear, but how can you evaluate the HS+ properly when you are mixing it with the wrong products. HS+ works just fine. I use both clears with no issue. But then again I use the hardeners and reducers that they call for. Playing JR. Chemist with $250gl clear is not a good idea.
