I’m about to retire and have always wanted to be able to do spray painting. Being a teenager in the 60 was a great time to play with cars. Ever since then I have wanted to paint a car, but life took me in different directions. now that I am retiring I plan to do it. I’m hoping I can learn something from this site and all of you experienced professionals.

A beer or two can be a good thing before you paint. Helps to take the edge off for me… at least until the paint fumes kick in:blink:

Hi and :welc . People here are so generous with information, I am sure you will be helped tremendously. I would also like to suggest you take advantage of the many videos that are posted. You can learn a lot by watching someone actually do the prep work and paint. I don’t think there is any subject involving painting that has not bee either discussed or shown in video here. Enjoy!!! Oh yes, congratulations on getting around to something you’ve always wanted to do, so often people never do what they’ve always wanted to do and that in my mind, just takes something away from enjoying this life we have.
