    Hey there everyone!

I just bought a 1976 Chevy short bed stepside, 350, with 350 turbo trans. Doing a full restoration it. Already have her all pulled apart, box off, cab off, engine out. Just painted the frame, looks brand new! The rear fenders are fiber glass, and one had a nasty chunk out of it, but that’s fixed! The old wood is taken out of the box. Basically what I have left to do is sand the shitty paint off, finish putting to engine back together, fix the passenger side rocker panel, get new wood for the bed, put the cab and bed back on, and paint her up!

If anyone can give me any tips on anything to do with this type of truck it would be greatly appreciated. I am painting it myself and it will be the first time I paint a whole vehicle. So advice on paint would be great. I plan to do a metallic red with a white hood.

    Thanks!
