Since I am going to repaint my truck from the guy that hit me I was thinking about doing something a little different. My truck is a 05 Harley Davidson. I want to paint it black still but where the original orange pin strip that goes down the side of the truck is, I was thinking something along the lines of a line that goes in to flames or something. Maybe run the line down the side and about the last 3 or 4 feet widening it down with flames on the bottom half with the H-D writing inside it. I dont know how else to explain it. Give me some idea’s to do. Maybe two tone? I dont not want a lot of orange. I really dont like that color but it’s part of the Harley Davidson trade mark. The newer trucks use black with blue flames on the bottom of the doors. I dont want to copy it, just want something trick. I even thought of doing a blue line with the H-D writing in it with pearl. 😉

on the f150’s a few years back didn’t the pinstripe they ran down the side change into flames like that…..i think that idea was already done by oem. there are a ton of different things you can do. go and scan through my gallery at different stuff. it doesn’t have to be a car or truck either. you can get some different ideas off just about any bike and just adapt it over and make it work for you.
