I am having some trouble getting this HD video working so I need a bit of help. Can anyone with a high end computer, preferably with an HD video card/monitor try this link here and see if there is any playback issues:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=juQ7efmInxk (remember to click the HD box, try full screen mode too)
My computers are too crappy to process the HD video properly. I think I may have a bad SD card for my camera too. Anyhow, this will give me a starting point. Thanks!
AnonymousOctober 15, 2009 at 5:37 am #16453Thanks guys, its hard to do this kind of work with a garbage computer. I think its time for an upgrade, it can hardly run the HD video editing software. It would probably take me more time to create the clips then it did the repair. My laptop was good 4 years ago!
AnonymousOctober 15, 2009 at 4:04 pm #16456That’s what I have now, all my computers at home and work are Dell…just getting a bit dated now. I like there computers and the customer service from them has been outstanding.
October 15, 2009 at 5:11 pm #16457Computers are antiquated by the time you get them home anymore. Look into a brand called ASUS, I understand they are ranked just below Macs. My son got an ASUS with dual core, 500g hard drive laptop for $700.

I know I had a bad experience with an HP before but I guess any company can produce a lemon. I’m not that fussy, I want to get one of the new mini laptops so I can drag it back and forth to the shop easily. I have a few HD vids up, had some problems with the sound. You can pick them apart at http:www.youtube.com/jimmo4life

Don’t know what I’ll do for a laptop….still gonna get a mini one for bringing to work. The specs on this one:
AMD Athlon X2 7550 Dual-Core Processor
3GB PC2-6400 DDR2 SDRAM memory (1x2048MB and 1x1024MB for ultimate performance) (expandable to 4GB)
320GB hard drive(7200 rpm) ¿ Save up to 64,000 of your favorite songs
Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium (have free upgrade to windows 7 in mail)
NVIDIA GeForce 6150 SE Graphics with 128MB intregrated shared graphics memory.
It’s not a supercomputer but it e’ll do for now. Its not an HD monitor but the LCD gives off really nice picture. I can at least edit my vid’s now on this.
