ask the boss. “i figure that with the gap inbetween the bed and the cab should be enough to break it up”, “do a spray out and see how close it is.” so as you can see, by now, i feel like my opion doesn’t count. so i break out the enviro color chip and see that i have a blendable match, and let the boss look at it. so, it falls on his shoulders if we have to repaint it.
so this is how it went.
09 tundra blue pearl met.–8s6 is the code.
the bedside was fixed, primed one end to the other. i would of blended it. for those of you wondering about how well water matches, well now you can see. lucky maybe.this is a shoot in the booth
now the outside shoots.

I usually butt boxes to cabs. With the Envirobase and Autowave we’ve had some great matches.
We butt match our bedsides to cab corners all the time, and we do ALOT of full size trucks. The way I look at it is if the boss says to do it, then its his problem if it doesnt work, and if it doesnt work, he can pay me to blend the rest. Looks great though! customer will never notice that its a touch dark…….:P 😛 😉
