    Hey guys new here, I have been painting for about 2 years now, I am a apprentice, hoping I kinda pick up tips and also give advice where I can, I am currently spraying DuPont cromax pro, but I am starting with a new shop and will be spraying sherwin Williams awx and atx, any advice on what I can expect with the sherwin Williams paint as far as application, how the color match is ect, thanks

    Welcome to the site. I spray AWX everyday, so I can do my best to answer any specific questions you have. I have used Cromax pro, AWX is quite different and a very different application. You will find it much faster drying. Colour matching is generally better than Cromax in my opinion, but you really need to use the alternates and colour tools.

    Thanks man, I’m a west coaster, vancouverisland to be exact, I’m looking forward to spraying it, I find cromax to be very different then any other paint, and yes I agree the color match wasen’t the greatest,
