The way I see it, most every person that posted there gave him an *Out*.
Everyone said “Oh, he must mean basecoat” “He must mean after you sand it to re-clear” “He means before the first coat of clear”And he came back and called everyone wrong, and unprofessional, and that he knows better because he has the biggest shop in Bla bla bla, and he’s been doing this for so many years, Bla bla bla.
Lets be honest, put him in your shop, my shop, Bondo’s Shop, Ding’s Shop… He would have got the same verbal beating.

You guys are missing my point. Of course Frank’s advice was odd (to say the least), and one of his responses sucked, and was removed (why am I even explaining this here?).
Anyway, what brought me over here was someone from this site winding me up about what was going on in that chat box..which I read and reacted to. I should not have taken the bait. You guys certainly have every right to say whatever you want about me, ab101, members over there – whatever you want to talk about.
However, ab101 is going to be moderated. I realize a very vocal minority has a problem with that, but sorry…it’s going to be moderated. Try some of the nonsense that went down at ab101 over the last years on a site like hotrodders and see how tolerant Jon is. Not going to happen. On a larger board you can’t run it like a boys club.
So, thanks for the responses to this thread, it has actually helped me understand a lot better.

Justin, thanks for the comments about ab101, but bro you have the website design nailed. Very nice work…top notch stuff here.

bet its stone he didnt like us dissing anyone using the same clear as him :roflScrew the 101 and its backyard warriors that preach bad advise over and over again!! The ones that claim to be professionals are at best novice painters and body men. The site needs a good house cleainng! I feel for the beginners looking for good advise. They are starting off on the wrong foot before even getting to the garage by reading some of that garbage. Jimmo has a good thing going here, with a great group of professional guys! Except for a few that is; bondo, ding.. 😛 I dont really go there anymore unless I want a good laugh. Its sad to say..
