High metallic Cromax Pro blends

Having issues with blotchy blends on any high metallic color that calls for 2091 mxed with the base.
Using 2091 as wetbed and then low pressure flicking the wrist dust coat, but still cant get i right.
Even tried 2091 over the wet blend.
Wa636r seems to be the worst.
