anyway.. been talking to this company Auarita for a while.. They produce all kinds of guns including hugh end guns for a fraction of the cost of Sata..
This is their pro line
http://www.auarita.com/images/ITALCO%20CATALOGUE.pdfI can’t say that I am not impressed with the talk from the company representative.. They have quite extensive knowledge and R&D for the last 10 years trying to break in to the market.. Italco was/is Italian Gun Maker that transferred the mfg to China..
I hope I can get HVLP-II gen 3000 in 1.3 and 1.4 nozzle.. or should I get an LVMP(RP) ??
Prices go for about 130usd/pc and the service kit/nozzle is about 20usd..
I know you guys like Satas,Iwatas,DeVilbiss.. but I am trying here to break the ice with a cheaper gun that will perform excellent..
I know that the experience is number one pre-request to have..
August 17, 2013 at 5:35 pm #44100cant say i have ever seen anything come out of china that i would consider quality by any stretch of the imagination. maybe this company is trying to do thing different though. only way to know is to buy one of the guns, try it and compare.
It obviously looks like they copied SATA and Devilbiss pretty blatantly. I am sure they’ve violated many international copyright laws and patents…China is possibly one of the few countries they can legally get away with manufacturing them in. Lol
With that said, if they copied the guns close enough, then they probably spray fine. I’d be concerned about the quality of materials and service life/parts avaluability.
Lastly, the website makes the guns look/sound great. But I wouldn’t trust a single word of anyone who so blatantly copied other companies products. That kinda irks me…
August 17, 2013 at 7:53 pm #44106This kind of thing really pisses me off to be honest. A company blatantly copying other companies products. If you want to be a reputable company just build something worth buying. Instead you copy something that a company has spend tons of money and time with R&D.
I hope this company gets the piss sued out of them somehow.
August 17, 2013 at 7:57 pm #44107I spotted those on ebay, cant believe they get away with that. Its no different than copying a car or any other part,I hope they get sued….
Getting a bit hot on the discussion.. I am not here to blame or to defend companies.. but do you think that a company can get an ISO and TUV certificate if they copy/paste guns from Sata..
They had ongoing R&D for 8 years I believe..
Maybe the design is alike Sata..
Don’t judge book by its covers..

As for the Iso and tub stuff…it’s made in China. They may not be real. I know of some Chinese knock off paint booths here that were supposed to be great and certified. Turned out that the city inspectors looked into the booths certification and it was counterfeit. The booths had to be disassembled and possibly sold for scrap. Appearantly the Chinese manufacturer wouldn’t do anything when confronted and wouldn’t take the booths back…
…just saying

ISO9001 cert doesnt have much to do with the fact they are making bunk copies. It is something completely different. Until i see the cert I call bullshit on that also. it is a chinese company. They can say anything they want as there is no repercussion.
Their 8 years of R&D is bullshit. It is a blatant forgery. Maybe it took them 8 years to be able to make a copy spray correctly. They did nothing to develop their own technology, that’s obvious.
I am not saying they do not spray nice but I would not choose to give my money to a company whose business plan was to make generic sata and devilbiss guns.

Its identical to a sata 4000,the only thing different is the fan control knob and the threads instead of a quick conect cup.You will need a sata 4000 to compare not a 3000,apples and oranges comparison that will get you nowhere :deadhorse
August 18, 2013 at 5:06 am #44119First questions are parts availablity and customer support. Others are metal quality and machining tolerances. All bets are off when a Chinese product gets on this dirt. Often when a Chinses product fails or needs repair or parts you are SOL.
